"So while our art cannot, as we wish it could, save us from wars, privation, envy, greed, old age, or death, it can revitalize us amidst it all.”

An art exhibition offering refuge in tumultuous times.

Curated by Dee Hooker and Chris Miroyan, Shelter From The Storm brings together the works of ten diverse artists through a compelling array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, video and mixed-media installations by artists from Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Oakland and Corrales, New Mexico.

At its core, Shelter From The Storm is a testament to the enduring power of art to heal, inspire, ignite and unite. In times of uncertainty, it is through the act of creation and the sharing of stories that we find common ground in our collective humanity.
