ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been an artist all my life.  My mother, Artist, Suzanne Sable and father, Pierre Dufayet were extraordinary artists. Both came to the United States from Paris, France. I was born in Yonkers, New York and raised in Monterey, CA.

 

I have studied art through private tutorship, various classes and workshops by renown and accomplished artists. When I was young, I learned cartooning. I went on to do my own stain glass designs, ceramics, fused glass, collage, oil painting and acrylic painting.

Since moving to California, Danielle's award winning work has been exhibited at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, the Triton Museum of Art, Saint Mary’s College Museum of Art, Anne & Mark’s Art Party, Santa Clara University’s Edward M. Dowd Art Gallery,  Las Laguna Gallery, Gallery 24, and New Museum Los Gatos.
